Water based Adhésives
Water-based adhesives are made by dispersing a polymer (acrylic, EVA, neoprene, etc.) in water.
These adhesives, known as “contact glues”, are mainly used for bonding large surfaces, on many types of materials (rubber, fabrics, wood, plastics, etc.).
After applyin g the adhesive on the two materials to be assembled, the two parts must be firmly pressed together to obtain immediate and definitive adhesion.
One of the two substrates must be porous in order to evacuate water and allow the adhesive to harden.
