Applications

Araldite® 420 is a two-component epoxy adhesive that cures at room temperature. It is highly resistant to impact and shearing, and its performance can be improved by curing at a higher temperature.

Araldite® 420 is widely used in industrial sectors requiring high performance epoxy adhesives. It is particularly suitable for use in :

  • Aerospace: For bonding composite parts and light alloys.
  • Automotive: Ideal for structural joints, bodywork assembly and components requiring high strength.
  • Shipbuilding: Suitable for environments exposed to severe conditions, such as corrosion resistance.
  • Electronics: Used for encapsulation and assembly of electronic components, ensuring reliable insulation and protection.
  • Renewable Energy Industry: Perfect for bonding in wind turbines, solar panels and other structures exposed to the elements.
