Acrystal® DECOR CARRARA POUDRE

Intended for interior applications Acrystal® Decor Carrara allows the realization of object with the aspet "white marble" or "sandstone" (by the addition of pigments). The Acrystal® Decor Carrara creations can also be placed outdoors after application of a paint or varnish topcoat (EX, Acrystal® Finition). Acrystal® Decor Carrara can be applied directly to any type of support (even polystyrene) by pouring or spraying. It can be used in molding or gel-coat. Acrystal® Decor Carrara is used for: Architectural decoration, replicas, Models, scenography, museology.

Properties once hardened: Density: 1900kg / m3 / Pot-life: 8/10min / Time before demolding: 20 to 100min (depending on the thickness) / Flexural stress: 18 Mpa / Compressive strength: 25/30 Mpa (after hoven curing ) / Expansion at the outlet: <0.1% / UV resistance: excellent / Fire classification: M1 (F); B1 (D); IMO.

Acrystal® Decor Carrara is a composite material consisting of two products: Acrystal® PRIMA liquid resin + Acrystal® Decor Carrara (powder based on natural mineral crystals and metal fillers). The two products mix at a height of 10/50 (10 Acrystal® Prima + 50 Acrystal® Decor Bronze). Acrystal® Decor Carrara is a non-toxic product (no risk phrase) and has a low odor level. It is a very simple resin to implement and emitting hardly any heat at the moment of the reaction (exothermy <45°C). Acrystal® allows a great variety of surface state and can be cleaned easily water (water as the only solvent).
