Polyurethane elastomers are used in casting for the production of elastomeric parts with a hardness ranging from 40 Shore A to 55 Shore D. They are very resistant to tearing. They can be cast by gravity in an open mold, by injection or by vacuum casting. They make it possible to obtain parts with properties close to those obtained industrially.
