Conformal Coatings
Conformal coatings protect and extend the life of electrical equipment. They are engineered specifically for the protection of printed circuit boards.
Conformal coatings are applied according to three methods:
Brush, spray or dip (based on their viscosity).
Conformal coatings protect PCBs from harsh environments such as:
moisture, salt spray, chemicals (hydrocarbons, coolants, etc.) and high temperatures
Conformal coatings also protect printed circuits from corrosion, short-circuits and mold. They have high dielectric strength as well as UV tracers to facilitate board recoating.
