Carbon Fabric
Carbon fiber is characterized by its low density (1.7 to 1.9), its high tensile and compressive strength, its flexibility, its good electrical and thermal conductivity, its temperature resistance and its chemical inertia ( except for oxidation).
Carbon fabrics come in different textures: canvas (taffeta), twill (mainly 2/2) and satins.
The number of K (ex: 1K; 3K; 6K; 12K) represents the number of filaments per thread (a 3K thread is made up of 3000 filaments).
The grammage is the weight of one square meter of fabric: we offer carbon fabrics from 95 to 600g / m2.
