Anaérobics Adhesives
Permabond anaerobic adhesives are acrylic based and solvent free. They cure in the absence of oxygen under the catalytic effect of metal ions.
As a result, they are only used to bond metal surfaces (unless an activator is used).
Anaerobic adhesives are used primarily for threadlocking, pipe retaining and sealing and gasketing.
They prevent vibration-induced loosening and corrosion at fastener contact surfaces.
