DuPontâ„¢ Krytox ™: Lubrication of Fluted Rolls Used in the Corrugated Board Industry
DuPont™ Krytox ™ lubrication solutions extend the service life of bearings subjected to high temperatures (greater than 300°C/572°F).
Unlike hydrocarbon-based lubricants (mineral, PAO, ester), DuPont™ Krytox ™ lubricants do not carbonize on the bearings of heated fluted rolls used in facers. As a result, disassembly and cleaning times are considerably shortened.
They allow companies in the corrugated packaging manufacturers to eliminate downtime caused by bearings, reduce their maintenance costs and extend the service life of corrugated converting equipment.
